In 2005, after surviving a life-altering personal trauma, he channeled his energy into building custom Home Theater Personal Computers (HTPCs). This niche pursuit became both a distraction and a source of curiosity. Surround sound, though possible with desktop PCs at the time, required complex configurations that most consumers found inaccessible.

Victor took it upon himself to help others access this underappreciated feature, focusing initially on video games and movies. His early efforts were an exploration of possibilities—a quiet revolution driven by his personal passion.

Phase 2: A Fan Turned Advocate (2006–2009)

Victor’s life took a dramatic turn in 2006 when a Metallica DVD introduced him to the immersive world of 3D music. This transformative experience ignited his passion and led him to become a dedicated advocate for 3D audio.

Despite the promise of 3D music, its potential remained largely untapped. Market trends favored movies over music, and 3D audio remained a vague concept. Refusing to be discouraged, Victor took a bold step, elevating 3D sound from a secondary offering to a standalone service.

Phase 3: An Innovator Adapts (2010–2011)

As laptops replaced desktops, Victor encountered a new obstacle: most lacked the hardware for 3D audio. His initial dual-laptop workaround proved impractical, leading him to develop custom settings that enabled 3D sound output from a single laptop’s audio port. This innovative solution marked his transition from enthusiast to innovator. However, the emergence of mobile devices and streaming services soon made this approach outdated. By 2011, Victor faced a more significant challenge that now required a hardware-based solution.

Phase 4: The Inventor Emerges (2012–2014)

Frustrated by the limitations of mobile operating systems and the ever-changing demands of app development, Victor decided to create his own hardware for his 3D sound. Over two years of relentless research and experimentation, he built 20 prototypes, each refining his concept. His final design led to a compact gadget delivering 3D sound through a simple wired plug-and-play setup.

Victor was ready to take the leap into entrepreneurship, but the path was fraught with obstacles, including a lack of support from his family, especially his mother. Her skepticism towards 3D music posed a significant challenge, but it could not diminish Victor’s unwavering belief in its potential.

In a sense, even if his mom did not support his dream, he is still thankful that she was a key factor to fuel his dream. By 2019, his product was poised for launch, but the market had embraced wireless technology. Victor rose to the challenge, refining his design to incorporate wireless functionality and improve usability.

This period also brought external validation. Leading companies like Dolby began emphasizing 3D music, proving that Victor’s long-held vision had merit.

Phase 6: Triumph and Setbacks (2020–2023)

The pandemic years offered a silver lining, a time to perfect his wireless design. By 2022, his persistence paid off— Victor’s patent was approved, securing his place as a legitimate inventor. His collaboration with a local speaker assembler led to a promising product launch, but creative differences led to another setback. Victor parted ways with this partner, determined to rebuild independently.

Phase 7: Ready to Inspire (2024)

Victor’s 3D audio solutions are now ready to reshape the future of music. His journey, marked by resilience and innovation, has defied societal skepticism, familial opposition, and numerous technological obstacles.
